Daniel Dyer: ‘I wrote this song because I don’t know where I would be without Mevlana. And I wanted to mention Shams because – well, where would Mevlana be without Shams? I feel that from these two beautiful souls we can learn how to whirl, both literally as a beautiful form of worship, and metaphorically as a harmonious letting go to Life. The music I create tries to combine flavours from both Western and Eastern folk music. I hope it is a success and that you can make allowances for my amateur video!’
