Coleman Barks in action!

Coleman Barks: though his renderings of Rumi’s poetry take some liberties with the original, he’s a great poet – and performer – with a deep appreciation of Mevlana’s message. Here’s a clip we particularly like.

Coleman Barks performs a poem by Rumi, “What Was Said to the Rose” at one of the Mythic Journeys conferences. Musical accompaniment by Eugene Friesen and Arto Tuncboyaciyan.
