Rumi’s Circle invites you to its first poetry circle of 2016 on 20th February on the theme of ‘opposites’.
Rumi’s poetry often invites us to consider things which might be perceived to be ‘opposites’ but are ultimately in the service of the Divine Reality. This year Rumi’s Circle hopes to do a number of events around the theme of the sacred feminine, and integral to this, we intend also to explore the relationship between the masculine and the feminine. We thought it would be good to see how Rumi speaks of these two (and other) seeming opposites in our first poetry circle. Please come, bring friends, and poems (if you like) on similar themes.
Date: 20th February 2016 beginning at 11am prompt, and finishing at 1pm.
Venue: Hale Unitarian Chapel Hall, 335, Hale Road, Hale Barns,WA15 8SS (Closest train stations: Manchester Airport, Hale and Altrincham).
Free entry. All welcome! Tea, coffee & biscuits will be served.

Dear lovers of Molana I would like to share this poem with the circle, may these words point to the same Truth as they did for me. ”This love you now have of the TruthWill never forsake youYour joys and sufferings on this arduous pathAre lifting your worn veil like a rising stage curtain And will surely reveal your Magnificent Self.” With loving kindness عباس جبروتی
